She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin "Mebbs" Grimes and Ruth Ernestine "Teeny" Benson Grimes; and her brother Gary Grimes. She is survived by: her husband Roland "Gene" Hudgins; her sons, Jason Hudgins (Jessica) and Ryan Hudgins (Mary); her grandchildren, Ian, Grayson and Chrysta; and her brother Lynn Grimes (Leslie).
