She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Florence Keller Weber and George Albert Weber, Sr.; her husband Robert Long Berney; her sons, Bertram Weber Berney MD of Portland and John Brigham Berney of New York City; her grandsons, Scott Gardner Berney of Denver and Jason Reed Berney of Portland; and her brothers, John Albert Weber and George Albert Weber Jr..
Organizations for donations honoring Ethel include Goucher College and the Baltimore Museum of Art for the upkeep of the Cone Collection.
