He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles Edgar Chalmers, Sr.; his wife Joan; and his children, Coleen (Charles Jacobson), Beverly (William Jester), Paul (Katherine Chalmers) and Jim (Alicia Chalmers). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
