He is survived by: his wife Joyce Berey-Rivans; his daughter Alice Stephens; his granddaughter Julia Stephens (Uddam Som); and his stepchildren, Michael Berey (Ann), Bonnie Cash (Dale) and Cindy Horn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
