He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carl Gotfried Bauer and Helen Amy Emmler Bauer; and his sister Alice Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Angela Bauer; his children, Jeffery Bauer (Terri) of Olney, MD, Vincent Bauer of Mt. Pleasant, MD and Christina Sweeney (Patrick) of Gaithersburg, MD.; his grandchildren, Brad Bauer (Sabrina), Spencer Bauer, Shane Bauer (Julia), Casey Bauer, Joshua Bauer, Haley Bauer, Ben Bauer and Shannon Sweeney; and his great grandchildren, Blakely Bauer, Kinsey Bauer and Briggs Bauer.
