He is survived by: his spouse Carole E. Hawkins; his children, Carweyla M. Hawkins and Weyland J. Hawkins, Jr. (Andrea); his grandchildren, Weyland J. Hawkins, III and Riley M. Hawkins; his mother Bessie E. Hawkins; and his siblings, Benjamin L. Hawkins, Jr., Lynne H. Galloway and Beverly H. Carter. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
