He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Barbara Riggs Stiles (Bobbi Ann); his son Robert Stiles; his parent Jerry Brown; his wife Bobbi Ann; his children, Kathy, Steve (Maria), Chris (Lori) and Joy (Terry); his grandchildren, Amy, Will, Nathan, Steven, Adam, Michael, Devin, Taylor, Rachel, Mary and Annie; and his great grandchildren, Ali, Jacob, Luke, Elizabeth, Gavin, Zack, Leighton, Madeline, Landon and Baby Girl Adams.

“To all of you who will miss Sam so much. We got to know Sam and Bobbi Ann when they lived on Huntmaster Road and had a large dairy farm there. They were always so welcoming and kind and we enjoyed many happy times with them there as well as at their farm in West Virginia. To all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren you are in our thoughts and prayers and we hope you will find comfort in all the happy memories you hold of Sam.
