He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Jennings and Kathryn Jennings (Albertson); and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Helene Jennings (Murphy); his daughters, Alicia Jennings (Michael Mershon) of Bethesda, MD and Megan Jennings (Erik Stamm) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Jack and Annie Mershon; and his sister Sue Johnson (Jennings). He is also survived by niece, and many nephews and cousins.
In his work there, he and colleagues made important contributions to advancing the physics of medical imaging, particularly mammography.
