He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Mikula and Helen Bealko Mikula; and his siblings, Mary Strcula, James Mikula and Thomas Mikula.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Burns Mikula; his children, Michael Mikula (Megan) of Laytonsville, MD and Amy Marshall (Trevor) of Towson, MD; his grandchildren, Jack, Eleanor Mikula and Helen Marshall; his sisters, Carol Sikora of Uniontown, PA and Jacqueline Verney (Thomas) of Mechanicsburg, PA; and his sister-in-law Gloria Jean Mikula of North Huntingdon, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
