It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Ghion (Olney, Maryland), born in Clairton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gaspar and Sarah Galate Gaspar; her husband Remo Ghion (Ray); and her uncle William. She is survived by: her aunt Vesta Galate; her grandchildren, Dylan, Sean, Patrick, Nathaniel and Emma Ghion; and her cousins, Barbara and William Galate. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the name of Mary Ann Ghion to the National Institute of Mental Health. Donations will support research on mental health disorders.
