She is survived by: her wife Rashaun McGruder; her stepchildren, Rayana, Raina, Malcolm and Royal; her in-laws, Rodney and Rudine McGruder; her brothers-in-law, Ricardo, Renaldo and Rodney (Jena); her sisters, Anna Meres (Ghilma Meres Sr.) and Betty Giron; her sister-in-law Edith Mills; her close friends, Carlos Valderrama, Marquita Baldwin and Jenny (Brittany); and also Gilma Meres Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Norbeck Memorial Park (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
