He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McHugh and Margaret McHugh (Hastie); and his siblings, Thomas and Margaret (Colo). He is survived by: his spouse Rosemary (Rodgers); his children, Kristen Condon (Peter) and Megan McHugh; his grandchildren, Thomas, Norah, Jami, Cate and Meredith; and his sister Patricia (Drenberg). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Casey House- Montgomery Hospice in Rockville, MD or Benedictine High School, Cleveland, Ohio.
