It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Marie McIntyre (Olney, Maryland), who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Yates and Frances Yates; her husband Francis'Mickey'McIntyre; her brothers, Austin Yates, Dr. Richard Yates (Marie) and John Yates (Margie); her children, Michael McIntyre and Margaret Whisner; and her great grandchild Olivia Prudenti.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Cottone (Frank), Patricia Pelszynski (John), Regina McIntyre (Lane Shirey) and Mary Schulze (Larry); and her sister-in-law Mitzi Yates. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fran's name to Gilchrist, Attn: Philanthropy Dept, 11311 McCormack Rd #350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031; or to Women's Board MGH, PO Box 432, Olney, MD 20830 which is the Thrift Shop at Montgomery General Hospital, where Fran volunteered for more than 20 years.
