With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann Simonsen of Olney, Maryland, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hirschfeld and Gertrude Hirschfeld; and her husband Richard Simonsen. She is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an organization that was close to Carol's heart - St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org).
