She is survived by: her sons, Lee Peters (Brenda), Stephen Peters (Karen) and Scott Peters (Renva); her grandchildren, Karen Martinelli (Scott), Susan Akinbola (Ben), Alex Peters and Mason Peters; and her great grandchild Griffin Scott Martinelli.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
