She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Butt; her brother-in-law David Shuman; and her parents, Sylvia Feldman and Emanuel Feldman. She is survived by: her sons, Lee Michaels (Margarita Gutierrez) and Marc Butt (Cassandra); her siblings, Frieda Shuman and Isadore "Buddy" Feldman (Debra); and her grandchildren, Georgia Michaels, Sarah Michaels, Taylor Butt, Zev Michaels, Samantha Butt and Chaya Mina Michaels.
