He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Tessy" Malamis (Carder); his children, Dr. Robert "Bobby" Malamis of Atlanta, GA, Danny Malamis (Jody) of LaVale, MD and Teresa Malamis White (John) of Cresaptown, MD; his grandchildren, Daniel Malamis, II, Dustin Malamis (Alexis), Emmett Malamis, David Malamis, Mia Malamis, Luke Malamis, Taylor White, Hayley White and Alyson White; his sisters, Phyllis "Pan" T'sipinitis of Westminster, MD and Ruth Tate of Hopewell, VA; his sister-in-law Linda Malamis of Cumberland, MD; and his pet Charlee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
