We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 66, Darlene Rebecca Nixon of Oldtown, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Mullenax, Sr. and Edrie Mullenax (Bergdoll); her husband James Kenneth Nixon; and her daughter Julia Ann Wigington. She is survived by: her children, Jason Kesner, Hilary Parker and Zachary Nixon (Brittanie); and her siblings, George Mullenax (Karen), David Mullenax (Charlotte), Jacob Mullenax (Roxanne) and Ernestine "Tina" Irons. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
