He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Mackereth and Cora Mackereth; and his son Michael L. Mackereth of York, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Mackereth (Zimmerman); his sons, David Mackereth of Oldtown, MD and Kelly Mackereth of Carlisle, PA; his sister Phyllis Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Casey Mackereth, Shannon Vecchio (Nicholas), Nicholas Mackereth, David Mackereth (Mollie Bolton), Damien Mackereth, Maxx Mackereth, Emma Mackereth, Michael Mackereth and Ivy Mackereth; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Zachary Vecchio. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
