He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara E. Long; his children, Heather Kerber (Cameron) and Kyle Long (Julie); his sisters, Barbara Grey and Ann Jolley; and his grandchildren, Hudson, Harrison Kerber, Tess and Grace Long.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association in Ronald's honor.
