In the vast expanse of eternity, Odessa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Odessa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Broadus McMahan and Mae Ola Jackson McMahan. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Simmons (Narto) of San Antonio, TX; and her siblings, Sylvester McMahan (Bell) of Nolanville, TX and Martha Edwards (Harold) of Bowie, MD. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory (1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A repast will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Covington Community Center (3750 Elder Oaks Blvd, Bowie, MD 20716).
