With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret C. Tipton of Odenton, Maryland, born in Stonega, Virginia, who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aileen Callahan and Jim Callahan; and her brother Tom Callahan. She is survived by: her husband David G. Tipton; her daughter Jennifer Shipley (Travis Shipley); her grandsons, Cole and Jackson Shipley; and her brother Rob Callahan.

She supported Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation and various other charitable organizations.
