Gunter Braun wrote a sympathy message

“I am sadden to hear of the passing of Mr. Ken. He lived a full life and like many patriots served in the US Navy during the Korean Campaign. On this Memorial Day weekend we pause to remember the sacrifices of those whose selfless service allows us to sleep peacefully at night. Rest in Peace Mr. Ken, your service to our nation both in the military and in your civilian career was honorable and noteworthy. Few of us know your contributions....I salute you Sir.”
