She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Simpkins and Esther Simpkins of Mt. Vernon, MD.; her husband Kenneth Widdowson; her sons, Gary and Glen Widdowson; her sisters, Audrey Simpkins Jones and Rebecca Simpkins Messick; and her nephew Edmund Widdowson, Jr. (Eddie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Mahew (Tom) of Ocean Pines, MD and Marie Hansin (Morris) of Suffolk, VA.; her grandchildren, Carrie Arant (Dustin), Sara Hubbard (Bjorn), Chris (Travis), Michael (Shawn), David (Christy) and Robert Hansin (Kristy); her great grandchildren, Deegan, Ryder Arant, Sebastian, Matilda Hubbard, Kenneth, Carter, Tyler, Alana, Madeleine, Alexandra (Alex), Kaya and Korbin Hansin; and her nieces and nephews, Joann Larkin, Eve Kolodner, Shelia Darrah, Ellen Udovich, Julie Dorough, Norman Jones (Jonesy), Jay Udovich and Raymond "Ray" Widdowson.
