He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hegarty; his children, Kevin Hegarty (Toni) of Davidsonville, MD, Michael Hegarty Jr. (Rick Perez) of Parrish, FL, Sean Hegarty (Kerry) of Bradenton, FL, Kathy Stewart (Bill) of Delmar, MD and Kelly Williams (Chris) of Berlin, MD.; his siblings, Monica Lee (Tom), Maridella Hegarty and Patrick Hegarty (Elaine); his grandchildren, Shane Hegarty (Alex), Kieran Hegarty (Spenser), Dillon Hegarty, Red Hegarty, Cailey Smith (Darren), Zachary Cordovilla, Claire Williams, Caitlin Williams, Misha Williams, Benjamin Williams and Rachel Williams; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Hegarty, Carsen Cordovilla, Declan Hegarty and Brynlie Hegarty.
