She is survived by: her brother Charles R. Kessler Jr. of Cape Coral, FL; her children, Michael R. Minor of Florida and Bonnie M. Lucas of Prince Frederick, MD; and her foster daughters, Paula Peters of Burke, VA and Stacey Pearson of North Carolina. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren, two nieces, and one nephew.
