Though Roland may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roland touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Roland N. Murray and Margaret Holden of Washington, D. C.; his wife Doris Murray (Werres); and his son Michael John Murray. He is survived by: his daughters, Debora Ann Rafeedie (Samir), Sharron Murray Lewis, Kelley Murray Von Blon, Patrice Murray Sabatano (John) and Kristin Murray Peterson (Eric). He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and, nine great-grandchildren.
