Jean VanSant Long Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean VanSant Long (Ocean City, Maryland), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret H. VanSant and Nelson H. VanSant, Sr.; and her brother Nelson H. VanSant, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John B. Long II; her children, Beau Long (Dolores) of Columbia, SC and Bricey Pitts (Eric) of Greenville, SC.; and her grandchildren, Jack Long, Tim Pitts, Henry Long, Matt Pitts, Margaret Long, Nate Pitts and Riley Pitts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Atlantic Methodist Church (105 4th St, Ocean City, MD 21842). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
