He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Marie Dore; his children, Michael Dore (Patricia), Friar Timothy Dore, Conv, Nancy Bruchman, Douglas, Kelly Sheehan (Toby), Tracy Sies (Richard Jr.) and Patricia Jackson (Michael); his siblings, Mary Ann Dore Spalt, Thomas Dore and F. Joseph Dore; his grandchildren, Hannah Schaefer (Jeffrey), Christian, Caroline, Benjamin Bruchman, Luke, Carina, Jack, Patrick Sheehan, Audrey, Matthew, Kate, Abigail Sies, Madison, Riley and Piper Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Zoe and Leo Schaefer. He was also cherished by other loving relatives and friends.
