It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zetta Jean Sweitzer of Oakland, Maryland, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Glen and Dora Elizabeth Burns (Losh); her husband Elwood Elmo Sweitzer, Sr.; her siblings, Regina Fresh, Loye and Herman Burns; and her daughter-in-law Dorothy Sweitzer.
She is survived by: her son Elwood "Woody" Sweitzer, Jr. of Oakland; her grandson Eric Sweitzer of Oakland; and her sister Rebecca Lynn Lipscomb (Gary) of Parsons, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
