He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Simmons and Daisy Simmons (Blizzard); his wife Susan Simmons (Hamerdinger); and his siblings, Alice Chapman, Madaline Simmons, Hop and Harold Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Simmons, Melissa Holt (Patrick), Billy Simmons and Robert Simmons (Cherie); his grandchildren, Cameron Holt, Tori Holt, Taylor Holt, Breanna Blackey, Cassandra Simmons and Finn Simmons; his great grandchild CJ McLellan; and his sister Nancy Gordon.
