Violet Groves Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Groves (Oakland, Maryland), who passed away on August 26, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Reams and Amy Reams (Foster); and her siblings, Judy Reams, Jean Bernard, Linda Reams, Janet Reams, Denny Reams and Donnie Reams.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Groves (Laurie) of Keyser, WV and John Groves (Wendy Craver) of Oakland; her granddaughter Evie Groves; her siblings, Donna May, Deb Sisler of Oakland, Jack Reams of Deer Park, Dale Reams of Oakland, Brad Reams of Oakland and Larry Reams of McHenry; and her close friend Diane Arnette.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Garrett County.
