Though Susie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah C. Zook and Katie Zook (Lapp); her sister Anna; and her son-in-law Paul Bender. She is survived by: her husband Peter E. Beachy; her children, Lloyd Beachy (Esther), Viola Schrock (Evan) of Oakland, Rachel (late Paul Bender) of Bedford, PA, Raymond Beachy (Cora) and Peter Jr. Beachy (Melody); and her sister Malinda Yoder (Zook) of Oakland. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gortner Amish Church (3271 Mason School Rd, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
