It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Johnson of Oakland, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley T. Johnson and Astrid Johnson (Jensen); and his brother Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl L. Johnson (Simmons); his children, Andrew Johnson, Heather Bargender-Wavra (Mike), Erin Stipetich (Steve) and Sara Heisler (Kevin); his grandchildren, Travis Bargender, Chase Bargender, Mia Stipetich, Hudson Heisler and Crosby Heisler; and his sisters, Beth Cumming (James) and Lisa Sesto (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Crossing, where Steven passionately volunteered.
