He is survived by: his former wife Joyce; his daughters, Angela Simonds (Raymond) and Joyce Dillon (Phil); his stepchildren, William Pilkerton (Desiree), John Pilkerton (Robin), Michael Williams (Linda) and Liz Savage (Jeff); and his siblings, Wallace Solomon, Barbara Dawson, Joyce Simmons and Sandy Simmons.
