He is survived by: his wife Nadean Louise Whitacre (Lewis); his children, Matthew Sheldon Whitacre of Oakland, Jeremy Allen Whitacre of Oakland and Diane Michelle Welch (Darrell); his sister Sandy Jamison; his granddaughters, Katie and Michelle; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Ivy and Carter.
