She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence G. Paugh and Sylvia B. Paugh Sr. (Shambaugh); and her siblings, Clarence "Buzzy" G. Paugh Jr., Mervin H. Paugh, Gloria J. Sisler, Iris J. Whitehair, Martha L. Short and Rachel G. Bonner.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Sims of Florence, AL, Alvin Sims of Smyrna, TN, Russell Sims of Smyrna, TN and Amy L. Sims of Shelbyville, TN.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
