He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Dick and Edith Dick (Carpenter); his sisters, Norma and Joann Dick; his former wife Dolores Dick (Wancheck); and his close friend Ann Lee Colaw.
He is survived by: his children, LouAnn Hornsby (Roger), Sam Dick, Jr. (Tina), Scott Dick (Mary) and Nancy Watts (David); his granddaughter Ann; his brother Warren "Skip" Dick (Virginia); his nieces, Susan Kennedy (Wade), Linda Abraham (Roger) and Jodi White (Jim); and also, Rob Colaw (Courtney) and Susan Colaw. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the C &'s Fredlock Funeral Home (21 N 2nd St Ext, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
