It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Stockman of Oakland, Maryland, born in Terra Alta, West Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Oren and Mary Etta VanSickle (Guthrie); her husband Edward Paul Stockman; and her siblings, David Guthrie VanSickle and Evelyn Beth Rhodes.
She is survived by: her nephew David VanSickle (Beverly) of Solomons, MD; her nieces, Rebecca Eiss of Jefferson, GA and Mary Whitley of Solomons, MD; and her close friends, Bob and Leanna Boal of Oakland, MD.. She is also survived by sixteen grand-nieces and grand-nephews; plus several young nieces and nephews.
