He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Sweitzer and Glenna May Sweitzer (Harvey); his wife Alverta Ruth Sweitzer (Boyce); his brother Herman Luther Sweitzer; and his son-in-law Shayne Biser.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Denver Sweitzer, Jr. (Bob) of Deer Park and Kendra May Rinard (Tracy) of Oakland; his grandchildren, Shayna Parsons (Cody) of Fort Ashby, WV, Mandy Sweitzer (Brandon McWilliams) of Oakland, Delaney Rinard of Oakland, Jake Sweitzer of Deer Park and Patrick Rinard of Oakland; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Ryan Parsons of Fort Ashby, WV; and his siblings, June Sweitzer, Wanda Ward, Steve Sweitzer (Deb) and Rodney Sweitzer (Barbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
