With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Sharpless of Oakland, Maryland, born in Swanton, Maryland, who passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, McConnell Sharpless and Alice Sharpless Madigan (Turner); and his siblings, Elwood "Pete", Roy "Buck", James "Jim" of Paul, Richard "Rick" Sharpless, Linda Busciglio and Judy Sharpless.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lois Shockey (Kenny) of Swanton and Fay Tichnell (Arnold) of Swanton; his niece Tammy Craver; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Sharpless and Penny Sharpless. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
