He is survived by: his wife Carrie Marie Friend (Haskiell); his children, Odis Carl Friend Jr., David Friend (Earlene), Angela VanSickle (Eugene), Dana Friend (Chris Martin) and John Friend; his sisters, Joyce Shober and Lucille Hartford; his grandchildren, Ryan VanSickle, Matthew Friend, Crissa Friend, Emily VanSickle, Samuel Friend and Sophia Martin; and his great grandchild Grayson Tuel.
