He is survived by: his wife Martha White (McRobie); his children, Margaret White of Oakland, Peggy Behan (Donna) of Grafton, WV, Carl Shiflett, III (Kathy) of Grafton, WV and Marvin E. White, Jr. of Oakland; and his siblings, James White, Jr. (Linda) of Oakland and Beverly Callis of Oakland. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
