He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert William and Hallie Pearl Moon. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Laura Moon (Tichinell); his children, Tina Martin (Myron), Cheryl Moon (Dave Crawford), Luther Moon, Jr. (Denise) and James Moon (LeeAnn Wilcox); and his grandchildren, Myron Martin (Megan), Ryan Martin (Destine), Tiffany Martin, Katlyn Shreve (Taylor), Dustin Werdebaugh (Maria), Nicole Ferguson (Bo), Brooke Ferguson (Nick) and Kamryn Miller. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God (1014 Walnut Bottom Rd, Swanton, MD 21561). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
