With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leota Peck of Oakland, Maryland, born in Crellin, Maryland, who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Bernard Eugene and Nora Bowser (Mersing); her husband Joseph Albert Peck; and her siblings, Harland, Everett, Vernon Bowser, Iris Stemple and Arlene Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Peck (Sheila) of Cross Junction, VA, Elaine Bateman (Ed), Sue Thrasher (Ron) of Keyser, WV and Diane Lewis (Steve); and her siblings, Charles Bowser of Morgantown, WV, Ruth Athey of Cumberland, MD and Loretta Harvey. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
