It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Sherwood (Oakland, Maryland), born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Franklin and Blanch Margaret Sherwood (Hedges); his daughter Judith Susan Sherwood Schaumburg; and his sister Margaret Lee Sherwood Smith. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Sherwood (Steiding); and his children, Rebecca Fallon (Fleming), John Sherwood (Debbie), Martha Ognibene (Bart Thompson) and Mary Dreibelbis (Harold). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
