She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Martin Miller, Sr. and Juanita Miller (Sharon); her husband Earl Richard Nixon, Jr.; her daughter Virginia Lynn Nixon; and her siblings, Roy Miller, Ray Miller, Donald Miller, Chet Miller, Wanda Lee Nave, Doris Berg and Virginia Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Richard Nixon, III (Nicole) of Oldtown, MD, Melissa Kay Ritchie of Sacramento, CA and LaVern Ann Nazelrod (Mark); and her sister Romaine Sherman. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (1100 Memorial Dr, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
