He is survived by: his children, Marta Turney, Brantly Rush Turney (Laurie), Michele Messenger (Reginald) and Kurk Turney (Carrie); his grandchildren, Kellan Rush Turney, Kristin Messenger (Emmanual Fonseca), Cole Messenger (Kasiah), Max Messenger (Mary), Kendall, Bryce and Aiden Turney; and his great grandchildren, Waverly, Rip, Fin Messenger, William, Beau, Wesley Messenger, Ansel Rush Turney and Arch Rush Turney.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (6 S 2nd St, Oakland, MD 21550).
In lieu of flowers, Jack requested that donations be made to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church 6 Second St., Oakland, MD 21550 or Hospice of Garrett County PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550.
