He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Junior and Della Bly Welch (Kisner); and his sister Marlene Smith. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Marie Welch (Murphy); his children, Michael W. Welch, Roger Dale Welch and Regina L. Sweitzer (Jeff); and his grandson Tyler Sweitzer.
