He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph B. Cole; his siblings, Charles Cole and Margaret Aguilar; and his half-siblings, Jack Cole, George Cole, Richard Dumire, Nettie Bonner, Abby Harsh and Thelma Rhinehart.
He is survived by: his parent Lena M. Cole (Martin); and his sister Dorothy Armstrong. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
